Verification/screening is required and can be a combination of references, active board memberships, social media, LinkedIn, work email, a phone call through the dial by name system, Google, DL with a selfie, etc. Essentially anything that helps me know that you're real, legitimately interested in meeting me, and have no ulterior motives. Just a heads up, I usually I need at least two things.
